Our Process

Welcome to Beechwood Builders! We’re excited to take you on a journey through our comprehensive building process. At Beechwood Builders, we are dedicated to turning your dreams into reality, using quality materials, innovative designs, and a commitment to excellence.   

Here’s how we work step-by-step: 

1. Dream Home Consultation

Our process begins with what we call a Dream Home Consultation. During this meeting, you’ll sit down one on one with the owners of Beechwood Builders Inc. to learn about our experience, our building process, communication style, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Most importantly, this is our chance to listen to you—your vision, preferences, and must haves for your future dream home.

2. Design Agreement

Next, we move into the Design Agreement phase. Our design team will create a Custom Floor Plan (CFP) based on everything discussed during your consultation. We’ll also craft a front elevation and produce a 3D photorealistic rendering so you can clearly visualize the look and feel of your new Beechwood home.

3. Loan Pre Approval

Before we continue the design process, we’ll need a loan pre approval from a trusted local mortgage lender. No worries—Beechwood Builders partners with several excellent lenders who can help guide you through this step.

4. Design & Estimate

Once your custom floor plan, elevation, and exterior rendering are complete, we will assemble a detailed budget for your home. After the estimate is ready, we’ll meet with you again to go over the design and pricing before moving forward to the Purchase Agreement.

5. Purchase Agreement

When your floor plan and elevation are finalized and you’re ready to build, we will enter into a Purchase Agreement. From there, we begin preparing the final blueprints, engineering documents, and permits needed to start construction.

6. Design Selections

During your Design Day, our professional interior designer will guide you through selecting all the personal touches—cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, fixtures, and more—inside our design studio so your home feels truly yours.

7. Loan Approval & Closing

After the Purchase Agreement is complete, your lender will finalize your loan approval (if you are financing) and schedule the construction loan closing.

8. Pre Construction Orientation

Once the local municipality issues the building permit, we’ll meet for a Pre Construction Orientation. During this walk through, we’ll review your plans, selections, electrical layout, and every detail of the build.

Note: This meeting is not for making changes. Any revisions to plans or selections must be completed before permit submission.

9. Construction Begins

Now the excitement begins—construction officially starts! We’ll install underground utilities, complete the plumbing groundwork, and pour the foundation of your brand new Beechwood Builders home.

10. Pre Drywall Orientation

As your home takes shape with framing, roofing, electrical, and insulation, we’ll meet on-site for a Pre Drywall Orientation. This allows us to review outlet locations, verify your design selections, and ensure all details are correct before walls are enclosed.

11. Executive Inspection

Quality is our top priority. That’s why every Beechwood Builders home undergoes an Executive Inspection—a thorough review ensuring workmanship meets our highest standards before moving forward.

12. New Home Orientation

Once construction and all inspections are complete, we’ll conduct a New Home Orientation. During this walkthrough, we’ll explain the features, systems, and maintenance of your new home. After the municipality issues the Certificate of Occupancy and your lender releases final funds, you’re ready to move in!

13. 60 Day Warranty Check Up

Sixty days after move in, we’ll return for a 60 Day Warranty Check Up to make sure everything in your home is performing just as it should.

14. 11 Month Warranty Check Up

At the 11 month mark of your 1 year builder warranty, we’ll check in once more to ensure your home continues to operate properly and go over what to expect for the remainder of your warranty period.

15. Refer Friends!
